Angelique McLoughlin ARNP, PMHNP-BC

Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Angelique is a Florida licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from Maryville University of St. Louis with her M.S.N and license to provide the care she has always dreamed of doing. She previously received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Daytona State College. Post bachelor’s she spent quality time working with a local child and adolescent psychiatric center for both crisis and outpatient care. After the impact she was able to make through compassionate, honest, and effective care she knew psychiatry was her true calling.

Angelique could see the mental health needs of our community and has since desired to make a difference. Her board certification allows her to provide for patients across the lifespan. She aspires to make a difference for children and adolescents who struggle with a large range of symptoms to include but not limited to depression, anxiety, concentration, mood changes, sleep troubles, and eating habits.

She places an enormous impact to the therapeutic alliance between practitioner and patient. She wishes to work together to find the most effective treatment plan and medication management for each individual patient. She understands every case is special in its own way and should be treated as such. There is no perfect plan, yet there is always opportunity for growth. Angelique has always been an advocate for patient care, and a true believer that she has been put in this position to help others who are unable to help themselves. She believes no one should have to suffer, especially alone. She is open to treatment through medication management, therapeutic interviewing, and mindfulness.
